BT, Datapulse Ink Global Framework Deal

Datapulse has signed a 4-year global framework agreement with BT to supply products, services and support.
The two companies have collaborated for more than 20 years, and have supplied communications solutions to businesses and public sector organizations across the United Kingdom and beyond.
The new contract covers all of BT’s (News - Alert) major business divisions, and will expand the company’s existing range of Datapulse solutions as well as provide the flexibility to add new applications and geographies.
According to Martyn Fidler of BT’s procurement and supply chain, Datapulse’s track record of consistently high quality applications and a true partnership approach were key factors in its selection. BT also appreciates the company’s ability to deliver these solutions across the world to the highest standard of customer service.
Datapulse, a global developer of unified communications applications for Nortel (News - Alert), said that BT will need to contact only one proven supplier to meet the majority of their customers’ requirements for Nortel applications. Fidler said that this simplifies and speeds up the process of selection, delivery and support.
Suppliers like Datapulse help BT create a rich and broad offering that can deliver innovations to the market, said John Mason, product manager, BT Global Services (News - Alert).
“Datapulse’s pedigree has always been in the development and support of exceptional applications which help our customers maximize their existing investments in Nortel and help differentiate BT from the available competition,” Mason said.
Gary Young, chief executive officer at Datapulse, said the new contract validates the hard work and dedication that their people have demonstrated toward providing top-tier service to BT and their customers.
