Virtualization and storage data recovery vendor Sanrad
has teamed up with AppSpeed
to expand and strengthen its presence in U.K.’s storage markets.
The partnership agreement will see AppSpeed (News
) offering Sanrad’s core products – the V-Stor and the V-Switch – that provides data availability and protection with a combination of snapshots, mirroring and replication, according to the company.
The San Mateo, California-based Sanrad’s products are certified by Microsoft
Hyper-V, Virtual Iron and VMware
. In addition, Sanrad solutions provide comprehensive disaster recovery assuring zero data loss.
The agreement with AppSpeed , according to analysts, will extend Sanrad’s
growth in the SAN and virtualized storage markets.
“AppSpeed’s aggressive approach and market reach is impressive, and we see great potential for strengthening our considerable technological advantages in the U.K. market,” said Paul Jassies, sales director at Sanrad.
Grahame Smee, managing director of AppSpeed Distribution, said: "We are very pleased at the signing of this agreement. It strengthens our position as a leader in the evolving virtualization market by adding a powerful virtualization storage partner to our existing offerings.”
The agreement with AppSpeed is to promote and sell the full range of Sanrad's V-STOR and V-Switch storage virtualization products.
