ARI, one of the largest vehicle fleet management organizations in North America, has expanded its business empire with acquisition of UK-based Fleet Support Group (FSG).

FSG, which is headquartered in Chippenham, England, will soon be part of the ARI family of companies. According to ARI’s officials, there will be no change in the FSG's management structure or staff positions as a result of the acquisition.

ARI President Carl Ortell said that this acquisition is another vital step as they continue to expand the scope of their services and their geographical reach.

Ortell noted, “Everyone at ARI is extremely excited about FSG joining our family of companies and about the opportunities that lie ahead of us in the European market and have many North American clients where our unique ability to deliver customized solutions has provided exceptional results and we believe this acquisition will provide us even more flexibility with our global clients and prospects.”

This strategic move from ARI further enhances its fleet management offerings in the UK and establishes the foundation for further global expansion.

FSG Chairman and founder Geoffrey Bray hailed the acquisition as the start of an "exciting new era for the company, its staff and its customers.”

"Both FSG and ARI are privately-owned family business and have a similar ethos of partnering with customers and driving efficiency through pro-active management and a zero-tolerance approach to unauthorised expenditures. Both organisations partner with their customers to create solutions that enables a fleet to perform at peak efficiency," Bray added.

Bray concluded saying that both the organizations already offer turnkey solutions for public and private sector fleets and the added value for their customers will be achieved through the synergies of their affiliation with ARI.

ARI is a part of the Holman Automotive Group, with a workforce numbering more than 2,000 and offices throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Europe.
