More Spain IP Communications Stories
March 20, 2012
Videoconferencing company easymeeting.net has had a very active and successful March. Earlier this month the company announced that it would be offering its services to potential business customers for free for a limited time. This particular trial has helped put the company's name in the minds of their target clients who are not currently happy with the service they currently use for videoconferencing. One the heels of that, easymeeting.net has announced that they have launched a branch of their company in Spain.
easymeeting.net was founded in Tromsø, Norway and currently has offices in Mystic, Connecticut. The launch in Spain shows that the company truly wants to be one of the top global videoconferencing companies. The service's software is incredibly easy to use and with a monthly fee, clients are able to get full HD videoconferencing through their desktop or laptop computers or their Apple iPad tablets. Clients can even use their iPhone (News - Alert) to have a video conference. easymeeting.net is partnering up with Spain's SmartTelecom in order to gain entrance into that country.
“With a growing track record of success in Northern Europe and more recently in the United States and Canada with our entry to the Spanish market with SmartTelecom, easymeeting.net gains a great new partner who has not only years of experience in video conferencing but also other types of value added services,” said Evan J. Andriopoulos, CEO of easymeeting.net.
Gary Luhrman, the managing director of SmartTelecom said that his company sees a real benefit to having easymeeting.net offices in Spain. “We believe that easymeeting is a model that will be successful in Spain due to the growing demand for quality HD videoconferencing.”
He said, “Up until now, this type of HD conferencing equipment was only available to large corporations, while small to medium size companies have had to make do with Internet services like Skype (News - Alert). Now virtually any company in Spain can move up to HD quality conferencing while paying a low monthly rental fee, eliminating the need to purchase and maintain expensive conferencing equipment.”
easymeeting.net is currently offering a 14 day free trial of all of its services in order for potential clients to get a feel for what the company has to offer.
