CPI Establishes Manufacturing Capabilities in Europe
TMCnet Contributor
Technology solutions vendor Chatsworth Products, Inc. reportedly announced that it had set up manufacturing units in Europe in an attempt to better serve its clients in Middle East, Africa as well as the European continent.
Westlake Village, Calif.-based CPI has not disclosed precisely where in Europe it established manufacturing capabilities.
Analysts agree that CPI's European manufacturing allows the company to offer a variety of products that can be shipped quickly to the customers.
In addition to new manufacturing facilities, CPI can also make use of the U.K. office of its subsidiary Chatsworth Products (News - Alert) International, Ltd. Opened in 2008, the office effectively helps customers throughout EMEA easily obtain CPI products, customer service and technical support assistance.
"It is the next step in sustaining the global growth that the company has experienced, and will help us more efficiently provide customers with the high-quality product selections that they deserve," said Joe Weber, CPI's area vice president of international sales, in a statement.
CPI’s products and solutions, which include traditional structural support systems for organizing, storing, and securing valuable IT and communications equipment, are distributed through a global network of partners, integrators, and prime contractors.
Aside from Europe, CPI's manufacturing facilities are also in the U.S. and Asia.
Its solutions include a wide range of rack, cabinet and enclosure systems, zone cabling and wireless enclosures, wall-mount systems, cable management, cable runway and tray, power management, electronics, monitoring and security, grounding and bonding, as well as seismic protection systems.
Market analyst Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) recognized CPI with the 2008 Global Frost & Sullivan Award for Business Development Strategy Leadership in the dynamic world rack and rack options markets.
