BMC Software and Capgemini Expand Partnership to Accelerate Cloud Adoption

BMC Software and Capgemini (News - Alert) have expanded their partnership to help customers realize the benefits of cloud computing, enable more cloud adoption and help them meet EU regulations on energy, privacy and energy consumption.



BMC offers a unified business service management (BSM) platform and cloud management for automating IT processes, improving decision making and orchestrating workflow across cloud, virtual, distributed and mainframe resource.

Its new BMC Remedy OnDemand is purported to be the most feature-rich and user-friendly IT service management (ITSM) solution available in the cloud, designed for demanding IT organizations.

Capgemini’s outsourced infrastructure European customers now have the option via the expanded partnership to migrate their already available IT service desk solution to the new BMC Remedy OnDemand solution. With the help of locally hosted cloud environments, the solution can help them nullify major security and privacy concerns.

The Remedy OnDemand also equips Capgemini customers with more flexibility and innovation through its mobile and social features and reduces IT service management costs. BMC and Capgemini have established a joint center of excellence to furnish customers with shared service capabilities.

BMC added that the expanded partnership with Capgemini has made it the largest cloud-based IT service management solutions provider in Europe. Capgemini has become the largest global partner for BMC Remedy OnDemand.
