Novacom Europe, a joint venture combining the expertise of Novacom Services and GE Equipment Services, was recently recognized with a 2011 Europe Frost & Sullivan Award for Market Share Leadership. The company has been honored for its reliable trailer and truck tracking services.
Novacom Europe’s Vwise trailer telematics and Vwise truck telematics systems are critical technologies which deliver outstanding on-board information and analytics. Novacom Europe’s core strengths include efficient solution suites, superior customer support and astute strategic partnerships.
"Novacom Europe does not merely compete with other vendors in the European trailer telematics market, instead it sets a benchmark by which the market is influenced, both in terms of technology and effectiveness," Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) Senior Research Analyst Niranjan Manohar, noted in a statement. "This distinction has helped the company become the market share leader, serving approximately 20 – 22 percent of trailer telematics subscribers in Europe."
Novacom Europe installs and maintains Vwise solutions through a comprehensive European workshop network. These include access to GE FleetCare's certified 200+ workshops in 15+ countries, 100+ roadside assistance mobile service vans. The solution has an interface with easy-to-use functions that translate detailed data into actionable information to enable better and faster decision-making and help manage the exceptions.
The company also offers Veriwise DG 100 and Veriwise SATS 200 solutions, which provide real-time data, empowering many fleets to take direct control of their operating costs.
"Through its broad solution, using its proprietary DG 100 platform and CLS datacenter, Novacom Europe has been able to provide the much needed mix of applications such as asset dashboard/analytics, mileage readings for trailer fleet management and trailer diagnostics for the logistics industry," added Manohar. "An enviable customer base, consisting of established logistics operators such as Schenker, DHL and DFDS, testifies to the efficiency of the company's solutions suite."
