Procera Networks recently announced that it has signed a contract with the Telekom Austria Group (News - Alert). While the value of the contract was not disclosed, under the terms of the contract, Procera will provide the TAG group of companies with an advanced Services Optimization Solution which has been developed over its PacketLogic hardware and software platform.
In a release, James Brear, CEO of Procera Networks (News - Alert), said, "We are very pleased to be chosen as the provider of the services optimization solution at TAG and look forward to working with TAG group companies to provide innovative optimization techniques that will assist TAG to maintain and enhance the excellent service levels that they currently provide to their fixed and mobile customers."
The Telekom Austria Group, with its headquarters in Vienna, Austria, is a provider of broadband Internet and multimedia services, data and IT solutions, as well as wholesale and m-payment services to more than 22 million customers across Central and Eastern Europe.
