EANDIS has selected GE’s PowerOnFusion Distribution Management System (DMS) to power its smart grid project. Apart from improving grid and operational efficiency, the EANDIS smart grid project seeks to integrate renewable energy. All traditional utility distribution functions are integrated by GE’s PowerOnFusion DMS technology in a single platform. These include network management and outage management. Regulatory reporting with emerging low carbon technologies like embedded generation and energy storage is also integrated by PowerOnFusion DMS technology.
All users are serviced by the software’s architecture and functionality in their own working environment. Streamlined business operations have therefore resulted due to the seamless integration and flexible architecture. This has also increased workforce productivity.
