On September 29, a letter of intent was signed by eWork Scandinavia AB with Sony Ericsson (News - Alert) Mobile Communications AB. The scope of the letter of intent has now been confirmed by eWork Scandinavia. The onsite consultants of Sony Ericsson in Sweden will be provided services by the new Managed Service Provider (MSP), eWork. As of January 2012, eWork will experience an approximate 20 percent increase in its revenue due to this collaboration.

On September 29, for the first time, the letter of intent between eWork and Sony Ericsson (News - Alert) was made public. According to the letter a new collaboration will be formalized with an agreement being signed by Sony Ericsson with eWork in the coming weeks. While the initial length of the contract will be two years, the partnership will be reviewed by both the organizations after two years.

An estimated 20 percent increase in revenue is expected for eWork through this single largest commitment. On January 1, 2012, the agreement between Sony Ericsson and eWork will go live.
