Google (News - Alert) has long said that it wishes for its apps to go global. One company seems to be taking it upon themselves to see that aim come to fruition. Revevol Group is worldwide network that has dedicated itself to Google Apps. Now the company has formed a partnership with a Romanian company known as Appnor MSP. This partnership between Revevol and Appnor MSP is part of a larger worldwide strategy by the network to reach all corners of the globe.
With the addition of Appnor MSP, Romania becomes the 20th country on five different continents that Revevol calls home. Dragos Manac, the CEO of Appnor MSP spoke about why his company felt the time was right to join this network by saying, “We decided to partner Revevol Group in order to address better the enterprise customers. The expertise and support offered by the group are essential requirements of the large companies that want to benefit from moving to the cloud. We will continue to provide managed services under the brand Appnor, but Google products and software as a service (SaaS (News - Alert)) will be offered as Revevol Romania.”
Appnor is a still relatively new company having just been formed in 2010. Appnor MSP is a managed service provider-operating infrastructure does business in the United States as well as Europe. While the company’s home base is located in Bucharest, Romania, it also has operating structure in Virginia in the United States and Amsterdam in Holland.
Because of the cloud-based nature of most of Google’s apps, there is some demand from enterprise clients who needs to be able to operate on different platforms. While Google apps have actually had a little problem taking off popularity wise in the United States, the search giant is seeing European countries embracing their tools a bit more regularly. Revevol has been able to grow that popularity even more since it adopted Google Apps in 2007. The company has been a “Google Enterprise Partner” since that year and has been licensed as a “Google Apps Authorized Reseller” since 2008. The company takes pride in its standing as the first worldwide network of its kind.
