S3 Group (News - Alert), a digital TV company that accelerates end-to-end delivery of multi-screen TV, and Teleplan, a supplier of high-tech integrated end-to-end aftermarket services, stated that they will be equipping Sky Deutschland AG with the necessary products and services needed to enhance the quality of subscribers for its subscribers.
Sky Deutschland will be installing the services and products from Teleplan and S3 Group across its engineering, product support and supply chain departments and should be able to realize quality improvements and cost savings.
S3 Group’s contribution include a number of different StormTest products and they are supposed to be instrumental in helping Sky Deutschland achieve functional and performance testing of services, cost-efficient stress testing, and high-volume throughput device screening.
Teleplan’s vast expertise in After Market Supply Chain Solutions and its deep experience with the set-top box business will be leveraged by Sky Deutschland to push up customer satisfaction levels.
According to S3 Group, its StormTest Development Center seamlessly integrates with head-end software to allow full end-to-end validation of content delivery platforms, thus allowing firmware and applications running on set-top-boxes, residential gateways, iPads, Connected TVs, laptops and additional devices to be deployed faster and in a more reliable way.

In this way, we expect to reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) and further improve the quality of the Sky CPE, so that our customers can enjoy our product every single day.”
