MAGIX (News - Alert), a provider of software, online services and digital content for multimedia communications, has announced that it’s set to release the new versions of its two video applications, Video Pro and Movie Edit Pro.

The company has been developing technologies for creation, editing, management and presentation of photos and graphics, videos and music since the year 1993, and has its branches located in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands. Its products offer equal amount of flexibility and usability to both the laymen and the graphics professionals, offering help in quality production of home movies to professional projects.

New versions of its video editing and creation applications, Movie Edit Pro 16 and Video Pro X2 help the users in making their home videos, presentations, and even their digital photos into amazing presentations of sight and sound.

The new Movie Edit Pro 16 features new technological developments and a better designed user interface to answer all the video editing needs of the users. Equipped with AVCHD and Blu-ray export capability for full high definition movie creation, the application offers superb sound editing abilities as well. According to Sven Kardelke, Video Product Manager at MAGIX, Movie Edit Pro 16 comes with full Dolby 5.1 Surround sound support which makes it the first consumer level product to offer surround sound editing.

MAGIX has incorporated a number of improvements in the classic features of Movie Edit Pro while at the same time has provided the ideal solution for beginners as well as ambitious users. The application features effortless video capture, straightforward editing, spectacular 3D effects, a large selection of titles and fades, and brilliant audio dubbing technology, which enable the users in easily burning their projects to video disc, DVD, Blu-ray Disc, or exporting it directly to the Internet. The company has also included its patented object oriented editing feature into the application making the task of editing much easier than what it previously was. MultiCam editing is a yet another addition into the solution by MAGIX, which helps the users in switching between two cameras within Movie Edit Pro 16. This allows for easy transfers between angles from multiple sources.

Video Pro X2 is the second offering by the company featuring latest advancements. Last year, MAGIX had entered the arena of professional video editing solutions with its Video Pro X, and the company hopes the new version of the solution will solidify its name as a trusted source for high quality video editing products. Videomaker Magazine had named Video Pro X as “Product of the Year Award”, and the company aims to have a repeat of that success with the new Video Pro X2 as well. It is a video workstation that offers a wide range of powerful editing tools and sophisticated virtual equipment for detailed audio dubbing. Through optimized workflow layout and unique performance tools, the solution enables the users to achieve precise audio-video editing to turn their vision into a reality.

With the new Video Pro X2, the users can output to AVCHD discs with animated menus and high-quality multi-channel audio, create true surround sound with Dolby Digital 5.1 Creator and mix it live with the audio mixer, create Blu-ray Discs with animated menus and 6-channel PCM surround sound, and enjoy 9 camera multi-cam editing at the same time.

In January of this year, Depeche Mode had announced that it recorded all concerts on the current “Tour of the Universe 2009 / 2010” with Sequoia, a High Definition Digital Audio Software Package by MAGIX.
