, a Denver-based fax server application provider, has added another award to its growing collection for its Fax over IP
products and services.
The FoIPBOX II mirrors FaxCore’s (News
) successful FoIPBOX product series with its ready-to-install ability on a customer’s network upon delivery. But new features with the second version include FaxCore 2007 SP1 and the latest Dialogic
products supporting the robust V.34 fax standard. V.34 offers Error Correction Mode, higher compression and a data rate of 33.6Kbps for shorter transmission times and lower phone costs.
What’s more, the most version of FaxCore 2007also includes many new features and enhancements, such as:
Appropriate Dialogic (News
) Media Gateway product with SR140 Fax Software
· FaxCore application
) O/S and SQL or SQL Express
· Remote installation
· First year of support and maintenance
FaxCore officials said the server is also new and features a 1U Rackmount chassis with dual drives, RAID 1, 4GB of memory and can handle Dialogic Media Gateways from two to 60 fax channels. In North American markets, the FoIPBOX II / DMG product line supports two to 48 8 lines. And for countries based on the E1 Telecommunication Standard FoIPBOX II supports two to 60 lines.
FoIPBOX II also has a pure SR140 option for those customers that may have a VoIP system in place from companies like Avaya (News
) or Cisco.
Editors of INTERNET TELEPHONY selected the FaxCore for the award for its vision, leadership and ability to represent an innovative new product.
