Paca Mobile Center and Perfecto Mobile have reportedly launched a service that will enable developers to remotely test their applications on Paca Mobile Center's (News - Alert) library of mobile handsets. The mobile handsets of Paca Mobile Center are connected to French wireless networks.

 

Through the partnership, the Perfecto Mobile Handset Cloud service now includes French carrier networks Bouygues, Orange France and SFR (News - Alert) in addition to the major U.K., U.S., Canadian and Israeli operators. Developers can now access a variety of French handsets such as Apple's iPhone, HTC Android (News - Alert), Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, LG, Motorola, Nokia, Palm, Samsung and Sony Ericsson devices.

 

According to Norbert Etienne, director of Paca Mobile Center, by providing a multitude of mobile devices in its center in France, Paca Mobile Center has been dedicated to helping mobile developers overcome the challenges of developing and testing mobile applications. The partnership with Perfecto Mobile enables Paca Mobile Center to offer developers access to its devices through the Web. This lets more developers from around the world cost effectively test their applications on Paca Mobile Center’s devices, without having to travel.

 

Paca Mobile Center provides phones to its members who can access in Marseille, France, more than 1,100 mobile handsets for testing purposes. Members can also access a technical database on the most European market phones. In addition, the partnership with Perfecto Mobile enables Paca Mobile Center to provide a solution for accessing its mobile handsets and other interconnected mobile handsets around the world via the Web. This solution enables real-time testing of real mobile handsets on various networks in France and abroad.

 

According to Eran Yaniv, CEO of Perfecto Mobile, the partnership with Paca Mobile Center enables Perfecto Mobile to extend its Handset Cloud service to a number of additional handsets and also to make all French mobile networks available to its customers. Perfecto Mobile provides remote access and automated testing solutions for mobile devices.
