Russian Federation : GARS TELECOM announces refreshment of SmartMobile FMC service [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) SmartMobile service has been refreshed by Russian operator Gars Telecom. The service is based on FMC (Fixed-Mobile Convergence) technology. The service allows the connection of fixed and mobile telephone numbers into a single network. In 2013, the first version of the service was introduced with Megafon. The updated version unveils calls over short telephone numbers outside of the city of Moscow.
