ConteXtream to Present Comcast Case Study at TC3


MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. --(Business Wire)--

ConteXtream, a leading provider of carrier-grade network virtualization solutions, today announced its co-founder, Sharon Barkai, will be speaking with Comcast (News - Alert) Ventures Managing Director, Louis Toth, at this year's TC3 event, hosted by the Telecom Council of Silicon Valley. Barkai and Toth will be presenting a case study outlining how ConteXtream's solution has enabled Comcast to take advantage of Software Defined Networking (SDN), resulting in improved service delivery, reduced infrastructure and operational costs and the ability to more quickly bring new services to market.

TC3 is the Council's Annual Summit which draws executives from around the globe to discover the latest in innovations for their networks.

-- Sharon Barkai, co-founder of ConteXtream, conceived of and began ConteXtream in 2006 after a career spent founding and managing highly successful technology companies. Prior to Xeround, Sharon was Founder and CEO of Sheer Networks. -- Louis Toth, managing director at Comcast Ventures, oversees the investing activities at Comcast Ventures and is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, coordinating due diligence efforts and assisting in the negotiation and structuring of financial terms for new portfolio investments. He focuses on technologies related to video and communications services, enterprise services and cloud/data center solutions. He also works with the management of Comcast Ventures portfolio companies on strategic, business development and operations issues, and collaborates with various Comcast business units on issues relating to new services, technologies and start-ups. He is also a member of the board of directors at ConteXtream.
