Tieto signs strategic framework agreement with Swedish Tax Agency for IT consultancy services(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Tieto has won the framework contract with the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket) for operational and infrastructure services, following a competitive tender process involving 15 other bidders. The agreement means that Tieto can provide resource consultants and carry out assignments for the Swedish Tax Agency, Swedish Enforcement Authority (Kronofogden) and Swedish E-identification Board (E-legitimationsnmnden). Within the area of operations and infrastructure there are also opportunities to provide assignment services. The framework agreement is valid for 2+1+1 years. The Swedish Tax Agency has IT departments with around 750 employees at sites in Solna, Ume, Gothenburg, Vsters, stersund and Visby.
