Sweden : ERICSSON inks managed services deal with HRVATSKI TELEKOM [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Ericsson has entered into 5-year managed services deal with a Deutsche Telekom company, Hrvatski Telekom. Terms of the deal were not revealed. The deal will see the telecom network vendor providing support to Hrvatski Telekom to boost the quality and efficiency of its network. Hrvatski Telekom intends to increase quality of infrastructure and simultaneously optimize costs related to the construction and maintenance of fixed and mobile networks, said Davor Tomaskovic, president of Hrvatski Telekom. Hrvatski Telekom will move 40 staffs to Ericsson Nikola Tesla, as part of the managed services deal. According to Ericsson, the agreement for construction and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure comprises planning and construction of fixed and mobile networks, maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure, telecom network monitoring, plus field maintenance of active access and passive networks.
