Russian Federation : ROSTELECOM announced 17.6% growth in first half net profit to RUB 17.25 billion [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Rostelecom, the telecom services provider of the Russian Federation, has revealed in an announcement that the company has recorded an annual growth rate of 17.6% in its net profit during the first six months of this year to RUB 17.25 billion. The Moscow-headquartered telecom operator has witnessed a 5.3% boost in revenue during the reviewed period to RUB 143.21 billion as per the accounting system in Russia. As of the end of first half of 2014, Rostelecom s fixed customer base touched the 26.4 million mark, while mobile subscriber base stood at the levels of 13.8 million.
