(Hull Daily Mail (England) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) TECHNOLOGY: An East Yorkshire company continues to expand, with a number of new appointments.

Quickline Communications has announced the new appointment of key team members as part of its expansion programme involving a Pounds 2m contract win from BDUK and a partnership with West Lindsey District Council.

Kevin Drinkall is the new technical director and has joined Quickline from Vixsoft Systems Limited. He says: Throughout my career, I have worked in technical roles that involve networking, planning, the security and design of technical infrastructure and also web development and business logic." "I am delighted to join Quickline as it has the leading edge on innovation, delivering internet services through the use of wireless technology. Current and future prospects are very exciting to provide for businesses and residences across the UK." Steve Bolan is the new operations manager. He has been appointed to manage the BDUK project which, working with the University of Hull will develop ways to provide broadband coverage beyond 95 per cent in the UK, specifically in the North Lincolnshire area.



He said: "The chance to join Quickline was too good an opportunity to miss and enables me to further develop my learning in a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation." Daniel Marsh is a new member of the Technical Support Department. Also from Vixsoft, Daniel has seven years of experience in technical solutions for business.
