Chad : TIGO CHAD starts testing 4G service [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Tigo Chad, Millicom subsidiary, declared that it has initiated testing 4G service. On 17 July, the operator demonstrated the technology at a event, when the country's ICT minister made a Skype video call to Millicom Africa's vice president in London. Benoit Janin, Tigo Chad managing director, commented that his was the first of the group's African subsidiaries to introduce an LTE project and also the first in the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC) to do so.
