Germany,United States : SIEMENS reached deal for buying TESIS PLMWARE of MUNICH [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Siemens has announced that it has shaped a pact for the acquisition of Munich-based Tesis PLMware GmbH. The terms and conditions of the deal will remain secret. Set up in 1988, Tesis PLMware makes integration of product lifecycle management (PLM) software into enterprise applications. As part of the newly designed agreement, Siemens will acquire Tesis PLMware along with its operations in the US. Tesis PLMware, a member of the Tesis group, is intended at facilitating clients with IT cost reduction and enhancement of efficiency via integration of Siemens Teamcenter software with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and other enterprise applications, like manufacturing execution system (MES), customer relationship management (CRM), and supply chain management (SCM) software. Following the accomplishment of the deal, Tesis PLMware will become a part of the Siemens PLM Software. The partnership amid Tesis PLMware and Siemens PLM Software, a business wing of the Siemens Industry Automation Division, has been going on since 1992. Through Tesis PLMware, Siemens plans to facilitate its clients to integrate the Teamcenter PLM portfolio with international product development and manufacturing scenario.
