Content Security: NextiraOne Germany ensures secure data communications for company networks

Jan 15, 2013 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- NextiraOne Germany, part of Europes leading expert in communications services, has achieved Cisco Certification as an "Advanced Content Security Specialist" (ACSS), demonstrating the companys ability to provide consultation, sales and services for Cisco's Content Security solutions. The specialization enables NextiraOne to offer secure networks that include Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) and advanced collaborative features.

"We are very pleased to have achieved this important recognition of our comprehensive expertise in the area of network security," says Dr. Bernd Ruppert, CEO of NextiraOne Germany. "Combined with our certification in context-based ISE security management we are now able to offer highly competent solutions for the whole breadth and depth of high-performance network security environments. We are seeing first-hand amongst our customers the desire to derive benefit from the BYOD trend and this will allow us to offer them a range of safe, secure solutions." Analysis of web content and e-mails NextiraOnes customers are increasingly implementing innovative workplace scenarios that include the integration of mobile end devices into company networks. This does, however, bring an increase in threats from spam, viruses, malware and other attacks from the Internet. NextiraOne solutions incorporating Cisco Content Security help to minimise these risks without increasing the administrative costs. It analyses the data flows into and/or out of the network for malicious or inappropriate content and can block any unwanted content. While traditional firewalls only provide general monitoring of the network access, NextiraOnes solutions incorporating Cisco's Content Security products also carry out detailed checks of web enquiries and e-mails.

At home in all security areas NextiraOne Germany also has Cisco's current e-mail and web security solutions in its portfolio of integrated security solutions. These are based on the reliable, user-friendly Cisco IronPort product range which is due to be merged into the Advanced Content Security specialisation in the future. In addition NextiraOne offers the identity-based Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) security platform and the AnyConnect Secure Mobility Solution for wireless high-security connections of mobile end devices to networks. "The close partnership that exists between NextiraOne and Cisco means we are able to create consistent content security architectures for both large and medium-sized companies in order to meet our customers compliance guidelines and to minimise costly downtime," concluded Bernd Ruppert.
