Etisalat and Ericsson partner to provide quality network and services to subscribers in Egypt


(ENP Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ENP Newswire - 03 January 2013 Release date- 02012013 - Ericsson has announced a new agreement with Etisalat Egypt to transform the telecom operator's radio network to enable a full range of converged information and telecom services that will bring improved quality and speed of services to its subscribers.



As part of the deployment, Ericsson will provide Etisalat Egypt with its latest RBS 6000 radio base station technology. This will enable energy-efficient and cost-effective operations while allowing the operator to meet the demands of its growing subscriber base with better and faster mobile internet connectivity and quality mobile coverage throughout the country. What's more, it will enable Etisalat Egypt to prepare the network for LTE (4G).
