(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) VimpelCom Ltd ( VimpelCom , Company or Group ), a leading global provider of telecommunications services, today announced that OJSC VimpelCom closed the books for the placement of its non-convertible interest-bearing documentary bonds of the 01 and 04 series with a total amount of RUB 25 billion (USD 845 million). The bonds mature in 10 years with a put option in 3 years. As a result of the placement the coupon rate was set at 8.85% per annum.
Settlements under the deal will take place upon bond placement on MICEX on March 20, 2012.
Alfa Bank, Raiffeisen Bank and Troika Dialog are acting as Lead Managers and Joint Bookrunners on OJSC VimpelCom bonds offering.
The proceeds of the offering will be used for OJSC VimpelCom s general corporate purposes including refinancing of the existing debt.
