Paris, November 25, 2009 – Network Intelligence technology provider Qosmos today announced that it ranked Number 182 on the Deloitte (News - Alert) Technology Fast 500 EMEA 2009TM, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Rankings are based on percentage revenue growth over five years, from 2004-2008. Qosmos (News - Alert) grew 941% during this period.

“It is an honor to be included on this prestigious list,” said Thibaut Bechetoille, CEO of Qosmos. “Our growth has been driven by increased demand in the market for real-time network traffic analysis. Qosmos’ network equipment and solution provider customers in the telecom, networking and enterprise markets are finding new and innovative uses for our Network Intelligence technology, powering next generation applications.” Qosmos Network Intelligence technology identifies and extracts data traveling over networks in real time, providing a true picture of its purpose, use and value. A real-time view of events is crucial for a wide variety of applications such as lawful interception, cyber security, traffic optimization, QoS management, content billing, and market research.

“Making the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA ranking is a testament to a company’s commitment to technology,” David Halstead, partner in charge of Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 EMEA program. “With its 941% growth rate over five years, Qosmos has proven that its leadership has the vision and determination to grow in difficult conditions.” In addition to ranking on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500, Qosmos ranked 32 on the France Technology Fast 50, which is a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology firms in that country.

Technology Fast 500 EMEA selection and qualifications The Technology Fast 500 list is compiled from Deloitte’s EMEA Technology Fast 50 programs, nominations submitted directly to the Fast 500, and public company database research.
