Reichhold and Azelis to Ink Nordic Region Distribution Deal

Reichhold and Azelis have reached an agreement in principle whereby
Azelis is appointed exclusive distributor of Reichhold products for the
Nordic region (Norway, Finland, Sweden, and Denmark).
The aim is to achieve an effective transfer of this business through
the transition of skills, experience and competencies into the existing
infrastructure of Broste. The parties' intention is to provide optimal
support and improved service offerings to the market in the Nordic
region
Reichhold will maintain its own commercial and technical structure to
properly serve all users of Reichhold products served either directly
or through the Broste distribution channel.
The new distribution agreement is expected to be finalized and come
into force in the last quarter of 2008, once the practical transitional
matters have been addressed.
Azelis was formed in 2001 and has pursued a growth by acquisition
strategy, purchasing small and medium specialty distributors, whilst at
the same time developing organic growth through the identification of
synergies among member companies.
With its world headquarters and technology center in Research Triangle
Park, North Carolina, USA, Reichhold is a manufacturer of unsaturated
polyester resins and a supplier of coating resins for the industrial,
transportation, building and construction, marine, consumer and graphic
arts markets.
